A great place to stay for a few nights, within budget.

No breakfast included, no fridge in room, but overall a great place to stay for a few nights. Staff were always polite and helpful. Thanks guys.

Horrible hotel. I would rather sleep in a homeless person’s tent.

The location is central. This is a beach front property but the water is foggy and there are a ton of boats and dogs. Please stay in Nacpan beach or Lio beach.. it’s so clean and authentic. The service is amazing there and the water so clean and clear of boats. We have 3 more days and it feels like torture staying at Rainforest Beach Hotel.

The entire staff is rude and barely speak English. They look at you like you’re an inconvenience. There is mold EVERYWHERE!!!! It smells horrible. They cover up the smells with moth balls and you can barely breathe. The toilets don’t work so they leave you buckets to pour water to get the flush going. The shower is in the same space as well. There are spiders everywhere living in cobwebs above the beds. The website booking.com states that there is a jacuzzi/spa as an “amenity”( which is why I picked this place) but it’s false. It’s only in 4 of their one bed rooms that you must pay extra for (like $200 USD more a night). We visited other hotels and hostels and the service was impeccable, clean and modern for around the same price as Rainforest Beach. I thought maybe it’s the way of the land. Lol... nope. Just a horrible hotel. The staff are laughing loudly and singing late at night even at 2 am while the lobby TV volume is at its most high ALL night! I asked them 2 nights in a row to please lower the volume. DO NOT BOOK AT Rainforest Beach Hotel. Thank me later. I’m a budget traveler and I have never written a bad or good review until now. I’m doing this to save you ALL from crying in a itchy bed with loud staff and no windows to open.. you heard it right... no windows in the rooms!!

Beach front

We arrive at 9ish in the evening and the lady at the reception gave us a grumpy face. We didn’t feel we were welcome. We were all tired after the Honda Bay tour and travelled for 5hrs to El Nido. We had to drag our luggages from infront of the school to the hotel. The aircondition in 1 of our rooms wasn’t working. We had 3 rooms for 10 of us. This hotel uses 4G only! Surprise! They don’t have that Filipino hospitality.

Everything. The flexibility of the management. The location, view, everything. Will definitely return.

The flush in the toilet was not working as much as it should be, and no pale to compensate. But not a deal breaker.

If this were a $10 per night backpackers ok, but for what this hotel costs its not even close,

The view was amazing

Quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in after 25 years of travelling, always something missing, towels, coffee cups, the hot water never did work in 10 days, staff were always on the internet so the wifi never worked etc. Such a missed opportunity as the location is perfect.

It was right on the beach and access out the other dude...

It was right on the beach and access out the other dude straight on to the Main Street. Location was great! Staff were very helpful.

It was hard to get hot water and there were very limited power sockets (= 1).

Great location, right on the beach where the tours depart...

Great location, right on the beach where the tours depart from, but no so much of a relaxing beach. Lots of restaurants and bars really close by.

The room size was very small and extremely basic. Very little natural air flow and noisey.

The hotel was located right at the beach and on the main street. The room was cleaned up every day, we had AC and hot water. The hotel security guard was very friendly and always smiling :)

We had to pay for new towels if we wanted fresh ones. The WiFi was very slow. The ventilation in the bathroom was not properly working so it was always very humid. The staff at the reception was not as friendly, they rarely smiled to us. Overall, the room was rather expensive for what it was.

Great front desk staff.

Great front desk staff, will do whats you ask them. Safe and on the water. Second floor rooms are awesome BUT cost a lot more than main floor rooms.

The property is located on the beach, this is great, safe also. We requested two rooms, one family (rm #1) and one double (rm #5). The family room water heater barely worked it also leaked, the room smell musty (mold) and smelled like an open sewer, lots of ants and mosquito. The manager did not want to talk to us face to face regarding relocating to another family room but instead offered an upgrade to the second floor with an up-charge. Allegedly all family rooms on the main floor were taken but the second floor rooms were premium rooms. Occupants of rm #1 stayed for 4 days and tolerated the nasty smell of the room. The double room AC was warm and noisy, the toilet flushed once and did not fill back up with water. We were moved to an adjacent room but it also smelled like sewer and the AC did not work. After lots of negotiations with the front desk personnel and lots of telephone calls between the manager (who never showed up) and front desk we were move to the second floor free of charge, it was a great room. Thank you front desk staff. DO NOT BOOK a room on the first floor, it is below standards unless you do not care about noisy and warm AC system, noisy ceiling fan and smelling sewer and mold.

The hotel resides right on the beach next to the Submariner...

The hotel resides right on the beach next to the Submariner diving center. So it is a perfect place if you plan to dive a lot and/or want to have a quick access to bars. The hotel has a very cosy balcony so you can enjoy sunsets and a nice view over the bay area.

At least the time when I arrived the hotel had some problem with the sewage system.

La varangue coté plage

Très bruyant, au cœur des bars et restos. Très bien pour faire la fête. Si tant est que vous aimez les bars et les beuveries! Les chambres standards n’ont pas de fenêtre, il n’y a rien dans les chambres pour faire sécher le linge. Les salles de bain n’ont pas de fenêtre donc pas d’aération. La Clim peu efficace mais surtout un bruit incroyable. Bref aucun confort

La situation et la vue est superbe, la chambre avec jacuzzi, malheureusement nous n'avions pas pris le temps de nous en servir. Le personnel est à l'écoute et réponds très bien aux besoins.

Nous avions eu la présence de larves de moustiques dans la salle de bain qui restait en permanence humide.
